C.J. MacLellan & Associates Inc. provided the environmental assessment, site development, and building civil, structural, mechanical, fire protection, and electrical design for this renovation and extension of the MacLeod Group Victoria Haven Nursing home. The 50 bed facility includes an infloor radiant hot water heating system, staged boilers, a variety of independent HRVs, and full load backup generator capacity.

The many roof configurations and the need to phase the project such that existing residents would not have to be relocated during construction impacted on the structural design.
