In 1991, C.J. MacLellan & Associates was involved in components of the original design and construction of the Highlander Curling Club in St. Andrew's, Nova Scotia.  The firm subsequently completed an evaluation of desired facility improvements through committee and membership meeting formats. Pre-design options developed, costed, and presented for discussion. Recommended facility improvements in 1996 and completed civil, mechanical, and electrical design drafting. The firm retained two carpenters and managed all financial and technical aspects of the project.  The new expansion increased the lounge and viewing areas, and added new change rooms and washrooms to the facility. Two staff members serve on the Board of Directors and a large number of staff curl weekly in the leagues.
 

The community of St. Andrews takes full advantage of this facility.  Shown above are some avid curlers enjoying the game.
