Crockett Country

C.J. MacLellan & Associates provided complete professional and construction services for the development of this centrally serviced 50 lot subdivision near the new intermediate junior school in Antigonish. The firm developed the layout concept for a three phased development and designed the road, water, and sewer systems.  During construction, the firm acted as project supervisor and construction manager. Field data gathering and survey work were included in the engineering responsibilities. This subdivision was a substantial design/build residential project with a budget of  $300,000.  C.J. MacLellan and Associates also provided civil engineering services for the new St. Andrew's Intermediate school on the adjacent land.
 

Land development created an extra challenge as the properties were adjacent to a river.  This meant special care had to be taken in regards to erosion control during the construction phases.

 



These houses front on Townsend street which is perpendicular to Crockett Street.  The third phase of Crockett Country was developed on this side of the property in 2001 with lots extending down to the Brierly Brook.
