Client: Canadian Coast Guard
Project: Harbour Range Light Towers Upgrading (Canso and North Sydney - 2008)
The projects are
intended to renovate the range lights at Canso Harbour and North Sydney Ferry Terminal
and implement maintenance reducing features. Foundation repair and replacement
along with wood structural improvements were paramount; with lead based paint
removal, low maintenance siding, and vinyl window replacement as part of
upgrading the façade. In Canso the front range light was relocated away from the
shoreline an additional 20m to accommodate future shoreline erosion. |
