C.J. MacLellan & Associates, under the direction of the Dept. of Fisheries & Oceans - Small Craft Harbours,  provided pre-dredge soundings using the total station survey instrument to determine the proposed dredge quantities and construction costs.  Responsibilities included plotting the basin soundings and onshore elevations in order to maximize a proposed service area.  The service area was created by building a berm to contain the existing dredge spoils.  Tendering, on-site supervision, and post dredge soundings were also part of the project.
